Les Grands Chais de France (GCF) is a group of companies founded in Petersbach in 1979 by Joseph Halfrisch. The main location of the companies is Vosges du Nord (in the south of France). Today, Les Grands Chais de France is a large and successful company producing high-quality French drinks, and focused mainly on export (more than 70% of production). GCF owns vineyards in many wine regions of the country - Alsace, Loire Valley, Bordeaux (Landiras), Beaujolais (P. Desvignes) and Languedoc-Roussillon (Domaine de la Baume).
A distinctive feature of GСF is the desire to preserve long-standing traditions, combining them with innovations in the world of winemaking. This happens thanks to many years of colossal experience of more than 1200 employees of the company. The annual turnover of Les Grands Chais de France is about 700 million euros. The volume of production is about 1,000,000 bottles per day. The company's production area covers 12.8 hectares.
